The applied music for credit typically entails the following sequence of study: Meaning that they focus on teaching you things such as working in groups to create music. It is recommended that music majors take weekly lessons in their principal instruments. Students may not change their choice of instrument mid-year. Students are expected to follow a course of study, meet competency levels and literature requirements, and successfully complete a jury at the end of each semester of study. Students who wish to enroll in MUS 155 must first audition and obtain the permission of the music instructor.
